Great success for Mackay dancers at the 2021 Queensland State Championships

Bravo! What a fantastic weekend for the Munro School of Irish Dancing at the Queensland State Championships with our dancers placing in the TOP 5 for their age groups!!!

Congratulations to Anastasia, RUNNER-UP STATE CHAMPION in the Girls 8 years championships and winner of the Carina Young TCRG Perpetual Trophy.

We are so proud of Anastasia for her continued hard work and dedication at such a young age to reach such a standard to again make the top 3 in Queensland. Congratulations and we can’t wait to see how your dancing progresses in the years to come.

Congratulations to Keava, TOP 5 in QUEENSLAND in the Girls 15 years championships, placing 4th overall and qualifying to compete at the 2022 World Irish Dancing Championships in Belfast, Ireland.

We are so proud of Keava for her continued hard work and dedication whilst completing her senior schooling and also of her support to our younger dancers. Keava is always assisting our dancers in class and has become such a great role model and inspiration to our aspiring young dancers. Keava has previously represented Australia at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Ireland. Fingers crossed, once COVID is finally over, she can make the trip to Ireland once again.
