Earlier in the year our dancers travelled to Townsville, North Queensland to compete for the North Queensland Irish Dancing Premierships. The event which was postponed last year, attracted dancers from across North Queensland including, Cairns, Townsville, Ayr and Mackay.
Congratulations to our dancers Indy, Holly, Charly and Keava who each took home the North Queensland title in their respective age groups, and Anastasia and Gabriella who along with all of our dancers brought home a swag of awards. Congratulations on your excellent results!!!
I am so proud of how much each and every one of our dancers have improved through their hard work and dedication in light of the restrictions in which we have had to operate over the past year.
Finally, a special thank you to our behind the scenes support crew, our dance families, once again thank you for supporting your dancers and the Munro School of Irish Dancing.
